Assessment

Our evaluation procedure is three-fold. First, we provide an in-depth, on site assessment to determine your loved one’s needs and how best to meet them. We will go to your loved one’s current home to gather the most comprehensive information about the "big picture" in order to understand what your loved one requires, which includes an assessment of your loved one’s family and medical history, the environment, legal planning, financial planning, and determining your loved one’s functional stage if dementia is an issue. Second, after gathering all of the pertinent information, we provide a written evaluation that details the deficit areas and provides solutions and resources to best meet the needs identified. Third, we meet with the family to discuss the findings and recommendations to see how we can be of further help to you. During that session is an open-ended question and answer to be sure you fully understand the recommendations and "next steps."

Care at a Distance

For families at a distance, we can monitor your loved one and share any concerns or changes that might need intervention. We will visit as frequently as you would like, or only periodically – you decide. We can implement care changes as needed so that you don’t have to travel for every event. Let us lessen your burden and provide you with peace of mind.

Guardianship

Sometimes there is no family available to help make important choices, and we are here to help. When a loved one is no longer able to make important decisions about his or her own healthcare, we can assist with a court appointed Guardian whose duty is to assist an individual with resolving any personal or service matters.

Conservatorship

As with Guardianship of Person, we can assist with Conservatorship by providing a court appointed Conservator to manage legal and personal affairs dealing with a person’s property. Our goal is to provide for the best care and quality of life possible, and as Conservator, we will strive for the most cost effective means available.

Bill Paying

For those older persons who need extra help managing their daily finances, we can assist with bill paying. We will sort through the mail and write personal checks so your loved one can participate in bill paying to the best of their abilities. We will also assist in checkbook balancing to ensure that bills are being paid in a timely manner and basic finances are managed appropriately.

Medicare and Insurance Billing

We assist with problems related to medical insurance and Medicare, and work on your behalf to resolve any billing issues. We can also file an appeal or challenge denied claims. Let our specialist help you when insurance or Medicare becomes confusing.
